Women of Mortenson Reach Out to Refugee Family

Powerhouse Mortenson Construction is known for tackling large-scale projects like the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF), the United Airlines Flight Training Center, and the Milwaukee Bucks new mega-arena, to name just a few. So it’s nice to know this Builder of Big can focus its considerable strengths on something at street-level. A team of 15 women from Mortenson Construction, working through the offices of the St. Paul, MN chapter of Habitat for Humanity, have come together to build a home for a Somali family of 8, and to demonstrate that power and expertise are as scalable as compassion. Read more...
