Underground Passage Unearthed in Philadelphia Dig

Diggers in Philadelphia have unearthed a 200 year-old arched passageway and called an archaeologist in to explore further. The city, once the seat of the nation’s capital and home to the original White House, is said to be built atop many historically significant ruins, most of which are forever lost to time thanks to the march of progress and the building up of the modern city of Philadelphia. A mixed-use building is set to go up where the door has been found, but first careful excavation will be performed to rescue and study any treasure that may lie behind what appears to be a buried cellar door.
