A condo that is under 500 square feet in size? Superdense cities whose populations live literally atop each other have long been familiar with the concept; in Tokyo, such homes are a must, for instance. But Houston? At 2.2 million people spread over 600 square miles, the sprawling Texas megalopolis does not seem a likely candidate for what is called the “micro condo” model. But the tiny homes are making their debut in Houston in 2017, in the form of 14 “micros” nestled in among the proposed Hadley Building’s 28 total condo spaces. Read more...
