While the increase in employment levels is exciting, it’s not the full story.
Last year, Nevada’s average annual pay was $53,250––an increase of 1.27%. And with a 2% increase since last year, New Mexico exhibited the largest increase in average annual construction pay.
So what does this mean?
The numbers tell us it’s becoming more and more difficult to find skilled labor in the Southwest region. Businesses are paying more than ever to attract and retain the talent they need.
